Our Practice

Dr. Reed graduated from the Doctor of Optometry program at the University of Waterloo in 2019.

Dr. Reed has also worked overseas with non-profit organizations providing eye care to needy communities worldwide. These mission trips have taken her to Moldova in Eastern Europe and the Sabatia Eye Hospital in Kenya.

Dr. Reed grew up in Simcoe, Ontario, but she has a great affection for Fergus, having spent many summers at Belwood Lake with her family. She and her husband are long-time members of the Belwood Lake Sailing Club, and they are now happy to call Fergus home.

Dr. Hopfner graduated from the University of Waterloo, School of Optometry, in 1988.

Dr. Hopfner is a member of the Canadian and Ontario Associations of Optometrists and is active in the community, having served on the board of the Fergus-Elora Rotary Club and the local Big Sisters Association. She is also a member of the local Chamber of Commerce and the downtown Fergus Business Improvement Association.

Dr. Chau graduated from the University of Waterloo School of Optometry in 2019.

Dr. Chau believes that excellent eye care starts with clear and accessible communication with his patients, and encourages all of his patients to ask him questions regarding their eye health.

Dr. Chau trained in Dauphin, Manitoba, and volunteered in Moldova while in school. In his spare time, he enjoys travelling and experiencing the cultures of other countries, playing soccer, and playing board games/video games.
